Event…The Lazarides gallery MINOTAUR exhibit at the OldVicTunnels beneath Waterloo station in LONDON, now until 25th OctoberLeave a comment
The exhibition takes place at the OldVicTunnels. This is the most incredible raw, underground London space ever…it’s beneath Waterloo train station….a vast labyrinth like space…tunnels…arches…underneath London. A reminiscent moment of 90′s illegal rave settings…now it’s a super legal space as it has been acquired by the Old Vic Theater in 2010. Inspiration for the exhibit is from the ancient Greek legend of The Minotaur and Steve Lazarides of Lazarides gallery commissioned artists to each create their own interpretation of the classical myth. Installations by Robert del Naja “3D” (from Massive Attack), David Choe (who was commissioned by Mark Zuckerberg last year to paint the new Facebook offices, Conor Harrington, Antony Micallef, and Jonathan Yeo. .Go online on their site to purchase tickets…you can also eat there after you have seen all the artwork at Pret a Diner, Michelin starred pop up restaurant…WOW…http://theminotaur.co.uk/ Now until 25th October in London.

The Swiss Heritage Luxury House Bally’s 2nd year of collaborative partnership with Art Basel continues with project BallyLove #2. Both being Swiss it is a very organic union. I really am a fan of the brand – there is a very retro feel about it. This reminds me to soon post a Bally outfit- great clothes.
This year artist Olaf Breuning was inspired by Bally’s vintage posters below:
