Gaia Repossi and Anouk Lepere are working with the Kageno non-profit organisation to help the children of Rwanda. The organisation aims to implement sustainable development in Rwanda and in Kenya by building hospitals, orphanages and schools for the children of these regions. Bracelets, cuffs and armbands will be made of braided rope by  Rwanda ladies and Gaia Repossi and the House of Repossi workshops will embellish these pieces with fine silver and gold chains as well as with small precious rings. Anouk will be the muse of this limited tribal and ethnic collection which you will be able to buy at Collette in Paris from June 2011. Retail prices from € 190 and 350. All profits will go to the Kageno organisation. It is beautiful how this project combines the heritage and skill of different cultures to help the less fortunate ones. African children and women  are in dire need of help … the least you can do is buy these beautiful pieces and make a little bit of a difference.

The authentic pieces made of braided rope in their first phase….before The House of Repossi embellishes them with gold and silver….
