Orient Extreme
- 4 Rue Bernard Palissy,75006 Paris, 01 45 48 92 27
Good Japanese food in St Germain. It’s hard to find really amazing Japanese restaurants in Paris but see bellow a few that I like:

Takara- 14 Rue Molière,75001, 01 42 96 08 38, http://www.takaraparis.com/
Authentic Japanese at the oldest Japanese restaurant in Paris
Kunitoraya- 39, Rue Saint-Anne, 75001, 01 47 03 33 65
Great for UDON soup dishes
Jipangue- 96 rue de la Boetie, 75008, 01 45 63 77 00
Excelent Japanese Barbecue
Kinugawa-9 rue du Mont Thabor, 75001, 01 42 60 65 07
Great Japanese cuisine close to rue St Honore shops

Le Derriere-69 rue des Gravilliers,75003, 01 44 61 91 95, http://www.derriere-resto.com/restaurant/paris/derriere/
In this restaurant you feel as if you have been invited to someone’s home. Messy bookshelves, ping pong table, a bed, a bathtub… Momo’s restaurant just behind (derriere) his old spot 404 ( where you can eat Morrocan cuisine)and Andy Wahloo bar. French cuisine.

Le Duc- 243 Boulevard Raspail, 75014,01 43 20 96 30
Best seafood restaurant in Paris.

Apicius- 20 Rue d’Artois,75008 Paris, 01 43 80 19 66
Incredible setting, restaurant is located inside a 19th century hotel particulier which used to belong to Comte Artois and is now owned by Luc Besson. There is a bar as well where you can have drinks before your dinner. 2 star Michelin restaurant- the food is very good. I remember the chocolate souffle and petit fours ( if you are into rasberry jelly ,nougat or caramel) being amazing but then again I have a very sweet tooth.

L’Ami Louis- 32, rue du Vertbois, 75003, 01 48 87 77 48
Really good French bistro food and amazing wine list. A must .

Caviar Kaspia-17 Place Madeleine 75008 Paris, 01 42 65 33 32
Great for late night dinners- caviar, salmon, vodka… an institution on the Parisian scene since the 1920′s.

Sormani- 4, Rue du Général Lanzerac, 75017, 01 43 80 13 91
Reay good Italian-do go when it’s that time of the year- truffles time! Best Northern Italian cuisine restaurants in Paris- do not go here if you are looking for mama’s cooking-there is other places for that. This is a real dinning experience.

Le Cherch Midi- 22, rue du Cherche-Midi, 75006, 0145482744
Delicious Italian trattoria food- really good pasta. Head here for some mama’s cooking.

Laperouse- 51 Quai des Grands Augustins,75006 Paris, 01 43 26 68 04, http://www.laperouse.fr/restaurant/
Book the private rooms upstairs. Sexy, sexy,sexy- dine here and imagine that you are a character from the novel Dangerous Liasons. Lapérouse was formerly a clandestine rendezvous for French politicians and their mistresses; the tiny private dining rooms upstairs used to lock from the inside.

Le Petit Thiou
- 3 Rue Surcouf, 75007 Paris, 01 40 62 96 70, http://www.petitthiou.fr/
If you are in the mood for some Thai food this is the best in Paris.
