Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez met in 1998 while studying at New York’s Parson’s School of Design. The pair co-designed a senior year show that was so successful that Barneys bought the entire collection. This brand really represent everything I like. It’s understated, grungy but chic, masculine but girlie.

Harmony Korine+Proenza short film….Act Da Fool…the vision of suburban nihilism but this time transferred to Nashville where the film was shot
THE PS 1 bag The designers say they created the bag to be very low key, under the radar. A new take o the classic schoolboys’ bag, no logos, never showed it on the runway, never wanted it to be an it bag, wanted an anonymous bag. That did not work out right….it’s selling out in the stores.
Absolutely worship their 2010 fall collection….re-interpretation of classic, again. Preppy but wild. Pleats, micro-mini’s and school girl dresses.
Their muse: Chloe Sevigny….
why? “she stands apart from the ‘cookie-cutter’ fashions of America”
